This programme i believe is very influential to the young people of Turks and Caicos. With this it proves that there is hope for the future since teens have a voice and is able to listen to the voice of others.

Hi! I spent 4 yrs of my life in Turks and Caicos, two in Grand Turk and two in Provo. During that period, I met alot of people, as well as some of my friends who were facing problems outlined in the "TOPICS" section of this website and they had there wasn't really any stable adult in their lives that they could relate with, much more they were scared to talk to strangers. I think this programme is really good. However, it would be better if youths from other islands, such as Grand Turk and North Caicos could be involved in this programme.

I was lucky and rather fortunate to spend 4 yrs of my highschool life attending HJRHS and Clement Howell High and I've made some friends at HJ who would lo ve to be involved in such a programme and since I'm not in TCI anymore, you can probably contact and inform them about the programme. They are: from Grand Turk Janelle Hamilton (Kiko's sister), Grescelle Been (Her mom is Mrs. Been who teaches at E.L. Simons Promary), Shernelle Williams (Wayne Williams' daughter), Ludwina Fulford (her parents are Hubert and Beatrice Fulford), Akita Willians, Tessa Williams (Arnold Williams' daugther), Ikita and Ivina Brooks... and Ms. Opal Shaw and Ms. Arlene Smith from H.J. Robinson would love to be involved in programmes such as yours.

From Providenciales: Snezjana Adams, Lynn Ewing (Tasha's sister), Sherideane Kerr, Alturo Perez Rigby, Jerelle Laporte, Javano Forbes, Daphny Robinson, Marcella Emeleta Malcolm (Dr. Malcolm's daughter), as well as the followign teachers from CHHS: Mr. Howell, Mr. Cranston, Mrs. Kerr, Mrs. Rohini Pratt, Mrs. Pinnock and Mrs. Louise A Thomas (The Principal).

I also have some ideas, which I'll tell you more about later. I have final exams now and Good Luck with your programme. I hope that the persons I recommended may be of some use to you. Good luck and all the best.

Shina

I am from Houston,Texas and I am a Drug Counselor for teens and I have the inspiration of starting my own talk show to address some of the same issues that teens face all around the world. Good luck to you and May God Bless you in your work, and I hope to be able to offer advice or even work together some day.

It is very impressive to see how vastly our, communications links is going. I was feeeling quite home sick, and wanted to see what out website was offering. It is nice to know that we are gobal, taking to the future of our country and having such a big affect in so many live, this was very interesting and very encouraging, to make me work hard and contribute to our beatiful islands. Being in away to school in England made be realise how beautiful our country and how much it has to offer and what I could do to make it better. Continuing encouraging our youths, and I will soon join the fight.

I agree with the comments that the 16 year old boy made. I am no longer a teenager but I am still young. I am presently attending school in the United States but when I was home for the summer I saw a few episodes of the show and quite frankly it is boring. The kids who are sitting and in the audience look bored. I think that the show and its producer had a good idea to do a show like this which is focus to the youth of the Turks & Caicos Islands but they need to do alittle more research in show topic and ideas that would catch the attention of teenagers. I know that if I were 14 or 16 I would rather be watching the news instead of watching that show on the television or even worst listening on the radio.

As the young boy said, I think the producers need to find someone who is more in tune with what young kids are doing, someone who can identify with. I suggest that they find a younger host, not that Ms. Handfield is not a good host but not for this type of show. I think that more information and facts should be provided instead of opinions.

I would really like to see the success of this show, because it is a good media to reach the young people of the Turks & Caicos Islands. I thank you all for reading my comments and hope that some steps would be done in improving the quality of the show.

Read this carefully please, and really know what a young mind thinks about your show. The show should be more lively, and have a host that is more in tune with the young mind and what teenagers really think about, and what troubles them. I don't listen to the show on the radio, because quite frankly, it's boring. But I do sometimes look at it for a while when it is on television, but to be honest with you, I mainly look at it just to see which one of my friends I can pick out. Please don't get me wrong, the show has some very important topics that really do need discussing, but why bring people such as Pastors, Principals and so forth on the show to give their say on what ever topic that is being discussed when teenagers good and well, already know how most adults feel on most topics. How about instead of adults being the ones on stage talking put people who the kids would understand more, like other kids. Give them a topic, and let them talk about it with other kids. And get rid of the uniforms, let kids just come together as kids, and stop grouping them by their schools, let them interact with each other, they already know what school they go to, stop helping in the "RACISM" between the two high schools of Providenciales, most adults and parents don't know that there is an amount of RACISM between the two schools, such as students believing that they are of upper class and some are of lower class because of what school they go to, and by such doings by this TV show helps lead adults and teenagers to believe that they are of upper class and others are not and the other way around. If you do not agree with the things I have written here, please ask the children one the show questions, so adults and parents would be able to see what their youth are really thinking about. thank you for taking the time to read this, and if only a fraction of this is read, I know me, I this sixteen year old boy will still feel happy in what he has written here, thank you. ~A~

Hi,

I am contacting you on behalf of the family of Don Fairweather. He was last heard from the Bahamas on December 31st. He stayed at East Bay Marina in Nassau Bahamas from the 28th to the 1st of January, departing around 5:00 am. He was seen at Norman Cay around 1:00 pm on the 1st, and Staniel Cay on the 2nd of January. We believe he was sailing during the day and stopping on the hook in the evenings. He consulted friends on charts for Turks & Caicos. He intended to sail his way down to Puerto Rico.

We are looking for anyone who saw Don or has seen his boat

Don Fairweather is 6'2", with grey hair and mustache, slender, in good physical shape, and looks in his mid 60s.

I am attaching a flyer which I hope you can post and pass around which might trigger some's memory. Any news at all would be most appreciated:

Name: Don Fairweather Boat Name: Intrigue Boat: 1968 32 foot Triangle Sloop Registration No. 328091 Radio Call No. VX8088

Carrol Sahaidak

NB: The attached flyer is in Word 97 format, under Windows 95 platform. If you are unable to open it, please advise and I will re-send it.
